1. I will go to the bathroom and wash my face gently and use my foaming face cleanser – in the winter I tend to go for the Clarins foaming face cleanser because it has shea butter which is good for dry skin.
2. Gently pat it dry – I find that it’s better for your skin if you slowly pat it dry because of you are rubbing your face dry you are being really abrasive on your skin. It’s also good to find a really soft face towel – Egyptian cotton is great.
3. Exfoliate – Next exfoliate because it is an absolute must to everyday skincare routine. I would recommend finding a good exfoliater because you need it so I usually find quality ones.
4. Moisturize – My skin can get extremely dry, especially in the winter months so moisturizer is a must-have. The one I use is all year round is Aveeno Shea Butter. This just locks in the moisture all day.
